Thierry Rakotoarivelo. Group Leader

My research focuses on data privacy and information security and their application to federated systems. I am interested in the design and use of frameworks for privacy risk assessment, the development of provable privacy mechanisms, and the study of utility/privacy trade-off in specific application domains. Some of my recent projects include:

  • Privacy-Preserving Analytics for the EdTech Industry
  • Private Data Sharing in Trusted Agrifood Exports
  • Privacy-at-the-edge systems (e.g. smart electricity meter, mobile data collection, federated ML)
