Project summary description:
This project aims to recover waste heat from industrial processes to produce hydrogen on-site at a dairy farm that also manufactures dairy products like cheese and yoghurt. Using microgeneration technology and machine learning, the system will optimise thermodynamic settings for efficient hydrogen production. Expected outcomes include a working hydrogen unit, a cost model, and improved plant efficiency with reduced environmental impact.
