Project summary description:
This project aims to develop an efficient and cost-effective membrane-free microelectrode (ME) electrolyser for hydrogen production to accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen in global decarbonisation. It expects to pioneer innovative designs to produce compact ME cells that overcome the limitations of traditional electrolysers. Expected outcomes include a commercial-ready electrolyser technology with ultra-high efficiency, rapid manufacturability, and reduced use of crucial metals.
