Project summary description:
This project is concerned with the design and supply of a methanation reactor (also known as Sabatier reactor) to the ARENA-funded APA Renewable Methane Demonstration Project. The specific objective was to design a small methanation plant for the Wallumbilla Demonstration Project. The plant will comprise a methanation reactor, heat exchangers (i.e. pre-heater, cooling units for heat management), gas storage, and inlet/outlet ports as well as control and instrumentation units.
