Light-under testing and CO modelling of cookers at 20% hydrogen blending levels
R&D Focus Areas:
Gas networks and appliances, Safety and standards
Lead Organisation:
University of Adelaide
Funding:
Future Fuels CRC
Status:
Completed
Start date:
May 2022
Project summary description:
This short-term project builds on the research done in Future Fuels CRC projects RP1.4-01 (‘Domestic gas appliances review and test program’) and RP1.4-01B (‘Room carbon monoxide levels in lit-under burner situations’). It extends the work being done in project RP1.4-05 (‘Performance of Type A appliances with blends of hydrogen and natural gas’) by including more testing and modelling of cooker light-under CO emissions and concentrations inside rooms.
