Project summary description:
In this project, the feasibility of utilising near-surface engineered lenses for the purpose of hydrogen storage is investigated. The target medium is shales; however, other mediums can also be reviewed.
The major purpose of this work is to assess if shale lenses can be used as intermediate hub for hydrogen production. If shales lenses could be effectively used and utilised near hydrogen hubs, it would be highly beneficial.
The storage lenses can be used to store hydrogen or its derivatives such as ammonium.
