Project summary description:
This PhD project aims to develop the concept of a cellular pressure vessel for hydrogen storage. The cellular vessel, proposed to be made from additive manufacturing, is able to utilise space more efficiently besides the ability to be made into different shapes. The project will then extend into investigating the possibility of storing hydrogen within the pores of nanoporous materials covered with ice, allowing for safe storage and handling.
