Project summary description:
This project scoped, connected, and communicated the hydrogen opportunities for dairy industries in Australia and Uruguay. The aim of the project was to increase the understanding of hydrogen opportunities in dairy industries and increase research collaboration between Australia and Latin America.
The project investigated on-farm, supply chain and processing opportunities and challenges. The project involved the following outputs:
- Research report analysing agricultural opportunities for hydrogen, focussing on Uruguay and south-west Victoria, Australia, dairy industries. The report included analysis of opportunities and recommendations for future actions and partnerships.
- International webinar to share learnings and connect key partners in Australia and Latin America. The webinar was delivered virtually, involved Ministerial addresses from Australia and Uruguay and included Spanish translation.
- A key message campaign communicated research outcomes in Australia and Uruguay.
