Status:
Active
Start date:
2024
Project summary description:
This project aims to realise the Proof-of-Concept experiment (POC) for hydrogen liquefaction through a magnetocaloric cycle (refrigeration) based on polycrystalline holmium (Ho). The experimental facility will allow for the testing of different magnetocaloric materials at cryogenic conditions and enable exploration of the impact of various operating parameters on the cooling efficacy.
