Project summary description:
LAVO is a company that specialises in metal hydride hydrogen storage (a solid form of hydrogen storage) in a safe low-pressure system. The main objective of this collaborative research by LAVO and the University of Newcastle is to further advance LAVO’s product range and specifically synthesize a novel, low-cost, high performance, safe and sustainable hydrogen storage media that can meet the needs of both stationary and mobility markets.
This project is progressing according to the agreed program of work. The necessary equipment items and setups have been procured, commissioned, and used in a comprehensive experimental campaign due for completion in the first half of 2025.
