Project summary description:
This project aimed to increase the knowledge of social licence in the context of hydrogen. The 8-hour online course provides an overview of hydrogen, the concept and practice of social licence and why social licence is integral for the development of the hydrogen industry.
The course was designed for professionals working in first-moving industries, including policymakers, hydrogen project proponents, communications and engagement experts, and innovative community members. The course aims to upskill individuals and organisations in the importance of social licence, hydrogen messaging and community engagement in order to support a clean and green energy economy.
The course was developed by teams within Deakin including Hycel, Deakin Learning Futures and Recycling and Clean Energy Commercialisation Hub.
