Last week our Team Leader Dr Philip Valencia joined the Queensland AI Hub as a guest speaker to talk about recent advances in both microcontrollers (MCU) and machine learning (ML) that are enabling the ever growing ecosystem of small low power devices to achieve sophisticated on device ML and why it’s so important that ML can be run on these resource constrained devices.

Our ongoing work in this area is being developed in partnership with CSIRO’s AIM Future Science Platform, CSIRO’s Agriculture & Food business unit, BABEL-SBF, Ceres Tag, Ynomia, and NSW DPI.
