Eyes and legs in the Amazon: protecting biodiversity using data

The Distributed Sensing Systems Group was a key contributor to the Amazon Providence Project for biodiversity monitoring in the Amazon rainforest. The project has recently concluded with a network of ten multimodal sensing nodes deployed in the forest, along with several robots. Read the CSIROscope blog article here.
