As part of our our research outreach, Deep Earth Imaging sponsors or organises special events. Some of these are listed here (most recent first).
Deep Earth Imaging at the AEGC 2018, Sydney.
Michael McWilliams will give a keynote address 10:40 to 11:30 AM, Wednesday 21 February in the Pyrmont Theatre as part of the AEGC 2018. A number of our researchers will be attending the AEGC, so this is an excellent opportunity to discuss Deep Earth Imaging with us alongside some of the premier geophysical and exploration research in Australia.
Deep Earth Imaging convened a session in earth imaging in the near surface geophysics stream at the Fall Meeting of the AGU. The poster and oral presentation sessions were well attended with a good international representation to discuss the challenges and methods applicable to Deep Earth Imaging.
To introduce our science and the first cohort of Deep Earth Imaging Postdoctoral Fellows, we undertook a roadshow in August 2017 to take our science to key stakeholders and listen to their suggestions on how to hone our research to best meet their needs.
