New See3 updates and how to get them
We have just updated the See3 viewing software with some new features that you might find useful as an early Christmas present, but first you must enable them!
CinderSolo update is now live in the iOS App store and on GooglePlay
The latest cinder App update adds functionality to allow scientists with accounts at CSIRO's C3 facility to view and score there on images on the go! To do this just select the "Cinder Solo" option. This presents you with images in a randomised order. Simply swipe (or tap) to score. These scores will then be uploaded to the database and available for viewing via our See3 viewing software.
Visualise phase space
We have had a talented UROP student, Luke Thorburn, work on representing the chemical space defined by crystallisation trials. You can test this by clicking on the 'Visualise Phase Space' report in C6.
AutoScoring – baby steps
The goal of accurately classifying images using machine learning is still a way off. C3 has now started on this journey, and you will start seeing autoscores for some of your images.
See3 now live
We introduced See3, which is our viewing, scoring and optimisation tool at our Annual User Meeting on the 30th of March. We are so confident in this tool that we turned off CTWeb ('bout bloody time too).
New! Combine Screens function (Winter Solstice Special!)
You now can combine smaller screens created in CTweb into a single 96 well screen. Use the "Combine Screens" function in c6 (c6.csiro.au) to combine 4 x 24 well designs, 2 x 24 + 1 x 48 well designs or 2 x 48 well designs. This generates an .xml file for you to attach to your Tecan booking. Ask us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to make you a MDP_username dummy design for the pulldown menu so you can book in your new combined screen.
