Vietnam’s first trainers in science and commercialization are ready
Bridging the gap between research and application is a complicated process in which research institutes need to think strategically on how to understand the market problem and align their research work to serve to industry’s needs.
Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) has developed a 9-step guideline on science commercialisation, the Commercialisation PLUS guide, tailored to Vietnamese context. With this guideline, #Aus4Innovation program organised intensive trainings for scientists from several universities and institutes in Vietnam for 18 months. These scientists have now become first trainers on science commercialization in Vietnam. They will be the catalyst for a more practical, more strategically built innovation in Vietnam.
