Partnering for Innovation

Partnerships are important for innovation to thrive. Drawing on Australia’s experiences, the #Aus4Innovation program is exploring different ways for Vietnamese researchers and businesses to work together to use science and technology to solve industry challenges and improve businesses’ resilience and efficiency.
This week, Aus4Innovation and Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences launched an innovation club to support horticulture in the north – the first of this kind in Vietnam. This platform will bring together SMEs, researchers and others in the horticultural sector to address unprecedented challenges like climate change and #COVID19. Club members will meet periodically to exchange information and discuss opportunities for technology transfer and new research ideas.
The club’s management board was elected at the end of the workshop.
The launching workshop attracted representatives from SMEs, cooperatives, research institutes and relevant agencies.
