Background

Taste & Learn™ for Early Years is an evidence-based program designed to provide educators with lesson plans and activities to foster vegetable enjoyment in children in Long Day Care by undertaking curriculum aligned activities. In these Terms of Use, a reference to:
  • ‘you’ or ‘your’ is a reference to you as the user of the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials; and
  • ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’ is a reference to the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and Hort Innovation Australia Limited (Hort Innovation).

Variation

We may update these Terms of Use at our discretion at any time without notice. You should regularly check the Terms of Use before using the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials to keep informed of any changes we may make to these Terms of Use.

Deemed acceptance

By using the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as updated from time to time.

Your use of the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials

We permit you to access and use the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials on the basis that you:
  1. comply with these Terms of Use at all times;
  2. access and use the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials for the purpose of providing non-profit educational instruction to children in Long Day Care only;
  3. do not access and/or use the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials for commercial use or any purpose associated with making a profit;
  4. comply with any reasonable request from us in relation to your use of, and access to, the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials; and
  5. comply with all applicable laws.
You acknowledge that while the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials are intended to provide you with lesson plans and activities that are based on scientific evidence to foster vegetable enjoyment in children, the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials are, by their nature, not specific to any circumstances. We do not accept any responsibility for the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years program having the desired effect on children and we disclaim any duty of care and liability in respect of this. We do not provide any of the required materials, such as fruits and vegetables, for the activities described in the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials; it is your responsibility to source and provide all of the required materials that are listed in the Taste & Learn™ for Early Years Materials.
