The Science Show: CRISPR and cane toads

Dr Mark Tizard was on ABC RN’s The Science Show to talk about CSIRO’s work using the CRISPR-Cas9 system to target the toxin produced by cane toads, which has proved lethal to Australian wildlife that eat the toads. Less toxic toads could be used to train threatened and endangered native species to avoid eating the cane toads.
