Registrations now open: Celebrating science from SynBioFSP
We invite you to join us for the Celebrating Science from SynBioFSP Symposium to be held online on March 24 and 25, 2022.
The CSIRO Synthetic Biology Future Science Platform (SynBioFSP) was launched in 2017. Since then, the SynBioFSP has created and fostered a step change in synthetic biology capability in Australia. The FSP has trained more than 90 early and mid-career researchers and funded more than 120 research projects.
In addition, the SynBioFSP has contributed to building an Australian bio-based economy. This is seen in the intellectual property produced and enduring partnerships with universities and industry formed, as well as its close work with government.
In this final year of the SynBioFSP, we will celebrate these achievements with a Symposium.
The Celebrating Science from SynBioFSP Symposium will hear from:
- Professor Bronwyn Fox, CSIRO Chief Scientist
- Dr Paul Bertsch, Land & Water Science Director
- Prof Ian O’Hara QUT and Queensland Government Biofutures Envoy
- Ian Paulsen ARC Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology Director
Also hear from SynBioFSP Application Domain leaders, emerging CSIRO scientists, CSIRO SynBio University Fellows and PhD students.
