Sydney Science Park STEM Schools Grand Final Challenge Day 2024

CSIRO was pleased to contribute to the Sydney Science Park STEM Schools Grand Final Challenge Day held on October 21, 2024, at Rydges World Square. The event brought together 132 students from across 17 NSW schools to form cross-school teams, fostering an environment of teamwork and innovation. Each team was mentored by industry professionals from over 14 different organisations, providing invaluable insights and guidance as they worked on developing creative, people-centred solutions aimed at enhancing the liveability of our future cities.

Throughout the event, students showcased their ingenuity and problem-solving skills, while also gaining hands-on experience in applying STEM principles to real-world challenges. This collaboration between students and industry professional is crucial in shaping the next generation of innovators and leaders in the field.
