New Reports Released – December 2021

The final three reports resulting from Year 1 activities have been released by the Reducing Plastic Waste in India project.  The three reports are the result of research undertaken by the Activity focused on Policy and Behaviour related to moving towards a circular economy for plastics in India.

The addition of these three reports brings the total number to five produced as a result of Year 1.  The research team are also working on a number of journal manuscripts based on research looking into Innovation and Technology for a plastics circular economy for India.

A review of circular economy business models (CBMs) in India and development of a plan for further research regarding the barriers and enablers for further mainstreaming of CBMs.

Enabling behaviour change towards a circular economy for plastics in India: A review of social and behavioural enablers (2021-4)

This report focuses on programs and initiatives that can enable social and behavioural changes to improve the circularity of consumer-used plastics.

A review of the policy framework for a circular economy for plastics in India: Literature Review (2021-5)

A review of national and sub-national governance frameworks and policies relevant to the circular economy for plastics in India.
