Resources for growers

MouseAlert

MouseAlert is a free online resource and App for grain growers, farmers and communities to record house mouse activity in farm environments. These records can be used to monitor changes in mouse numbers across regions and forecast potential mouse plagues. Mouse damage to crops, grain stores, livestock and infrastructure as well as mouse numbers can be easily recorded in MouseAlert.

You can record mouse activity via the MouseAlert website or download the free FeralScan App on Google Play or on the App Store

Levels of mouse activity (high, medium, low, none) can be recorded on MouseAlert. The above map from the MouseAlert website shows all mouse activity records from December 2020 to December 2021. Image: MouseAlert
