ICQE 2023 – Programme Announcement

July 6th, 2016

We’re thrilled to announce the release of the eagerly anticipated conference program for the International Conference on Quantum Energy 2023. Thanks to our dedicated team and invaluable input from the quantum community, I think we’ve crafted an event that will both engaging and impactful.

Keynote and plenary speakers

We’ve got a stellar lineup of keynote speakers, led by none other than Australia’s Chief Scientist, Dr Cathy Foley AO PSM. She will be joined by Victoria’s Chief Scientist, Dr Amanda Caples and Chief Scientist of Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, Dr Bronwyn Fox.

ICQE 2023 will also feature plenary talks from highly respected figures in the field of quantum energy. Kicking off on Monday, Prof. Gerard Milburn will delve into the revolutionary quantum thermodynamics of learning machines with minimal carbon footprints. In the afternoon, Dr. Dietmar Tourbier will share insights into the challenges of energy systems as we strive for net zero emissions. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Dr. Alexia Auffèves and Sir Peter Knight will present their unique perspectives on the quantum energy landscape.

Cross disciplinary insights

Our afternoon sessions promise a comprehensive exploration of this pioneering field, spanning six key themes. Over 50 experts from all corners of the globe will shed light on the latest developments in:

  • Quantum Energy Generation & Harvesting
  • Quantum Thermodynamics
  • Quantum Chemistry & Energy Storage
  • Quantum Information & Computing
  • Quantum Energy Transport & Conversion
  • Quantum Technologies & Measurements

After a day of learning, attendees are invited to join us for an evening to remember at the world-famous Melbourne Cricket Ground for the Conference Dinner. It’s an ideal opportunity to connect, engage, and appreciate the rich history of this iconic Australian venue.
