Dr James Quach has recently been interviewed by Renew Economy, along with other key scientists in the field of quantum energy, for his perspective on the role that quantum mechanics will play in the development of fast, better and more efficient energy technologies. Dr Quach discussed his role in the first experimental realisation of an open Dicke quantum battery that displayed super-extensive thermodynamical properties, that is, charging up the battery took less time the larger the size of the battery!
