Lightigo FireFly LIBS system

Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) uses a short laser pulse to create a micro-plasma on the sample which generates an optical excitation. These light emissions provide a spectral signature for chemical composition.

At a glance:

  • 100×100 mm motorized stage with <1 μm micro step

  • CMOS colour camera with 1.5mm2 field of view.

  • Motorised spot size (10-150μm)

  • Laser DPSS, 20 Hz, 60 mJ@1064 nm / 30 mJ @532 nm, 5 ns., with motorized wavelength switching.

  • Five spectrometer channels spanning 180-977nm
