Sunwook Hong (Sunny)

Sunny is responsible for managing ‘National Marine Debris Monitoring Program’ in South Korea, which is a long term government project.

She is the director of OSEAN, a non-profit dedicated to research, education, policy development, and international cooperation for the protection of the marine environment from marine debris. It has a subsidiary: Korea Marine Litter Institute.

Sunny spent a year with CSIRO on sabbatical and has hosted a workshop in South Korea for our global plastics project.
