TJ joined CSIRO in 2007 as a Research Technician after completing a Bachelor of Environmental Management at James Cook University. TJ’s work mainly focuses on applying GIS and remote sensing tools to address environmental management issues.

Justine Barrett

Justine currently has a leading role in stakeholder liaison, operational/fieldwork aspects and on-ground asset management across multiple technology-based projects. Her PhD is aimed at reducing plastic pollution from reaching our waterways and oceans via improving litter capture in stormwater systems across Australia.

Uwe Rosebrock

As a Senior Software Engineer at CSIRO located in Hobart, he has extensive experience in large data processing, software design as well as project and defect management.

Caroline Bray

In 2022, Caroline joined the Ending Plastic Waste Mission as a Research Scientist, with time divided between the Environment and Manufacturing Research Unit working on a range of projects.

Olivia Wu

As a CERC fellow at CSIRO, her current work focuses on developing innovative object detection algorithms for efficient plastic waste monitoring and management in the environment.

Kathy Willis

Kathy’s research evaluates different types of government policies and activities, and their impact on litter volumes in the environment.

Steph Brodie

Dr. Steph Brodie joined CSIRO as a research scientist in 2023, following experience working with NOAA in California for the past 6 years.
