LiveGAPS meeting in Seattle

We attended a LiveGAPS Community of Practice meeting in Seattle, USA from the 29th of August to the 3rd of September 2015, with collaborators and representatives from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Presentations on livestock data and modelling in agricultural development were given by Mario Herrero from the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Andy Peters from Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC), Luis Tedeschi from Texas A&M University, Mathieu Vigne from French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), Simon Oosting from Wageningen University, and Hugo Valin from IIASA.
