Paper accepted in Nature Energy 2020

David Smith had a paper accepted in Nature Energy. With the advancement of Smart Grids, the current energy system is moving towards a future where people can buy what they need, sell when they have excess, and can trade the right of buying to other proactive consumers (prosumers). Among the important aspects of this “negawatt” trading discussed in this paper: security and privacy are highlighted along-side a noted research challenge being “Data Accessibility with Privacy” for negawatt.
