To succeed as a researcher and eventual research leader, cultivating the skill to effectively set up to cost and price research projects is essential. Budgeting ensures enough resources for a project to be successfully completed within the project scope while considering stakeholder needs.

Target audience: For individuals involved in research, such as researchers, project leaders, managers, etc., managing project budgets correctly are crucial to effectively cost and price research projects.

Objective: Offers a comprehensive understanding of research project costing and pricing, ensuring sufficient resources are available for a successful outcome, within a project scope. This practical workshop aims to equip students with a thorough understanding of the importance and impact of a well costed and priced research projects.

Outcomes: The workshop covers the fundamentals of finance, including tracking and costing project expenses and understanding the impact of finance on project outcomes. Gain the confidence and knowledge to achieve success in your research.
