With a focus on geoscience, subsurface injection, monitoring and simulation we apply a fundamental understanding of fracture mechanics, field operations and engineering processes to solve problems for Energy Storage, Mining, Oil and Gas, and Environmental Agencies.
The research applications we tackle include
- Orange Hydrogen production (and carbon mineralisation)
- Environmental analysis of well integrity
- Preconditioning and postconditioning of rock
- Monitoring subsurface injections including but not limited to water and CO2
- Subsurface fluid injection trials
- Hydraulic fracturing for seismic mitigation / other novel applications
- Hydraulic fracturing in mining
- Wireless sensors and improved safety technology
