The Castlemaine Emergency Response Expo had brought together local emergency services and government agencies to provide an informative awareness session on emergency preparedness. The Expo was hosted by the Mount Alexander Shire Council and the Castlemaine SES Unit, in partnership with Victoria State Emergency Service, Country Fire Authority, Fire Rescue Victoria, Forest Fire Management Victoria, Victoria Police and many more. The event’s main target was to raise awareness among the local communities on facing emergency situations ranging from basic CPR to an event of a natural disaster like bushfires, floods and storms.

An evacuation scenario specifically built for the Chewton area was demonstrated at this exhibition using the SEEKER tool.
