Under CFA’s Community Based Bushfire Management program, SEEKER was used to build an evacuation scenario specifically targeting the Chewton area in Mount Alexander Shire. Representatives from CSIRO’s DATA61, RMIT University, CFA, Mount Alexander Shire Council and local community members participated in the planning phase of the evacuation scenario and later came together to hear about the modelling and scenario outcomes. This bushfire modelling was later demonstrated at Castlemaine Emergency Response Expo 2022.
