Emily Jateff is the curator of ocean science and technology at the Australian National Maritime Museum. She is aboard the RV Investigator due to her shipwreck expertise and to hear science and maritime stories she can share at the museum.

Craig Woodward is a research scientist specialising in paleoecology. In particular he examines mud samples from both lake and ocean to archive environmental change. He is aboard the RV Investigator due to his sediment coring experience.
