Land Ahoy!

Our final day onboard the RV Investigator was our busiest yet. We were up before sunrise on location for our first multicore off Maria Island.

Day 4: Bad weather

Today we have hit some bad weather as we start to make our way back towards the coast and into Bass Straight. We currently have a 4 -5 metre swell, with 30knot winds, producing wind chop on top of the swell.

Day 2: Surveying shipwrecks

Today’s focus has been on locating and surveying shipwrecks off the NSW coast; using the RV Investigator’s Multibeam.
