IN2019_V04: Hotspot dynamics in the Coral Sea

7 August – 3 September 2019

A 28 day research voyage from Cairns to Brisbane. Educators on Board are Olivia Belshaw and Jamie Menzies.

Day 4: Sampling our first seamounts!

After a two and a half day transit, the RV Investigator arrived at the first sampling site, a seamount called Frederick’s Reef.

Day 2: Transiting to the first dredging site

The second day of our voyage was spent continuing our transit from Cairns to our first dredge site in the Coral Sea.
