Introducing our Educator on Board – Callum Hollingsworth

I teach a range of different subjects to years 11 and 12 at Rosny College in Tasmania.

As a teacher of maritime operations I was inspired to come on board the Investigator to learn about the logistics and technical running of an ocean going vessel. I also believe this opportunity would provide insight both to myself and students of the potential career opportunities on board a vessel such as the RV Investigator.

I am really looking forward to meeting with, and getting to know all the wonderful people on board. Getting to know them and their background, being able to understand the diversity of interest, knowledge and careers at sea. I also can’t wait to see all the amazing technology on board the RV Investigator in action.
