Can we transform the way we talk about the state of our environment?

Biocultural diversity is one approach to conceiving and managing the inter-dependent relationship of human and ecological systems. One way of measuring biocultural diversity is to look at the relationship between species and language diversity.

Our Knowledge Our Way (OKOW) Guidelines

The Guidelines are based on 23 Australian case studies that show that our Our Knowledge Our Way in caring for Country can be supported through: Strengthening Indigenous knowledge; Strong partnerships; Sharing and weaving knowledge; Indigenous networks.

Developing the Our Knowledge Our Way (OKOW) Guidelines

The Guidelines are Indigenous-led and have been co-developed via a partnership between NAILSMA, CSIRO and ACIUCN.  Indigneous land and sea managers their partners contributed 25+ case studies related to Indigenous Knowledge, many via a national call for case studies
