The Voluntary Data Classification Framework (the Framework) will assist Australian industry organisations to classify and define the value of their data in a consistent and unified way. CSIRO’s Data61, in collaboration with the Department of Home Affairs, is developing the Framework.

We have just completed our initial phase of industry stakeholder engagement and have completed workshops and closed the survey. Results have been analysed by our engagement partner Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre. An update, including a summary of the findings, is available in our May Newsletter.
