Viet Vo is presently a research fellow at the University of Queensland, Australia, where he pursues research in data security and privacy, secure network systems, machine learning security, and confidential computing. Before joining the University of Queensland, he held a research fellowship at Monash University. His research work has garnered support from organizations such as Monash Publication Awards, CSIRO Data61, and Oceania Cyber Security Centre. With more than 600 citations, his research work has been published in prestigious cybersecurity and knowledge engineering venues like ACM CCS and IEEE TKDE. Additionally, he has received the best paper awards in ICCAIS’13 and IEEE RIVF’12.
“Van Nguyen is a Research Fellow at Monash University in Australia, specifically in the Department of Software Systems and Cybersecurity. Additionally, he is an Affiliate at CSIRO’s Data61, also located in Australia. In February 2021, he completed his PhD degree in Computer Science from Monash University. Van Nguyen was acknowledged as a global talent through Australia’s Global Talent Independent Program (GTI) in 2021. His research focuses on advancing machine learning and deep learning techniques to address topical issues in Cybersecurity. His objective is to enhance the design, construction, and protection of security systems, ultimately mitigating security breaches. Van Nguyen also demonstrates interest in the fields of computer vision and natural language processing. His contributions to these areas have resulted in the publication of over 18 papers in esteemed conferences and journals that specialise in machine learning and software engineering.”
“Dr. Siqi Ma is a senior lecturer of the University of New South Wales, Australia. She received her Ph.D. in Information System from Singapore Management University in 2018. Prior to joining the University of New South Wales, she was a tenured faculty member at the University of Queensland. Her research interests primarily focus on mobile security, IoT security, and autonomous system security. She is a recipient of the best paper award of IEEE SANER. She has published a number of research papers in the top-tier journals and conferences, such as TKDE, USENIX, S&P, and ICSE.”
