IoT device security and efficient blockchain in supply chain

Duration: Jan 2020- Dec 2020

We aim to develop lightweight symmetric encryption scheme  and physically unclonable functions (PUF) for IoT tags attached to farm animals. Our encryption scheme has the feature of resisting side-channel attacks and PUFs are expected to produce hardware fingerprints to enhance device trust when deployed in open farm space. The end-to-end trust to farm products can benefit from the immutability of blockchain. It is our another goal to develop new smart contract technology for a public blockchain with nearly no cost.
