SMART SHIELD Artificial Intelligence Assisted Holistic Anti-Phishing System

Duration: 2 years 2020-2021

The objective of Smart Shield is to develop and use advanced machine learning algorithms instead of only examining the email or website at the surface-level. It also employs linguistic patterns and subterfuges to better classify extracted multi-dimension features and detect sophisticated phishing attempts. In addition, the Smart Shield development will enable easy integration with widely used technologies such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems deployed by our industry partners. The efficiency of the system’s developed techniques will be tested in a lab environment as well as a trial environment provided by the CRC partners.
