Climate risk and You
Are you, your business or organisation affected by climate risk?
Australia is facing wide spread climate-related issues. In between droughts and floods, bushfires are burning now across many areas of Australia, creating challenges to water infrastructure, the health of our workers, and safety for those working outside and exposed to heat and smog.
Although these climate risks may be more obvious, other risks may be more subtle – and is climate risks are not considered early on in a risk management framework, costly mistakes could be made, while significant opportunities would be missed.
What is Climate Compass?
Climate Compass is a risk management tool that allows you to bring climate risk into your current risk management processes. This tool will help you consider climate risks in a broad way so that you can make decisions that will save you money in the long run, while also potentially showing you some opportunities to take now to put yourself in a better position later. Essentially, Climate Compass will help you to identify, prioritise and put plans in place to manage risks and opportunities emerging from climate change.
