Responsible innovation is turning AI into a team player. 

Trust is a huge factor in how we interact with any team member in our workplace, including AI.

So to make teams that really gel, we need to work out how to build trust. Not too much. Not too little. But just the right amount to suit the systems we’re working with.

Dr Melanie McGrath takes us behind the scenes of her research into how we build effective trust with AI. Working with our Responsible Innovation Future Science Platform, as well as CSIRO’s Data61 and the Collaborative Intelligence Future Science Platform, Melanie is cooking up a ‘recipe’ for trust, which can be tested within our organisation and eventually, more broadly.
