Disease resistance genes as a renewable resource
In a recent issue of GRDC’s GroundCover, we presented our recent work on a GRDC-funded project on the management of disease resistance genes at the landscape scale. The central focus of this project is the development of a computer model that simulates the dynamics of crop diseases like strip rust in wheat and blackleg in canola, and compares strategies of disease control and resistance management.
