Innovation Partnerships

The Innovation Partnership workstream is a crucial component of the Aus4Innovation program, dedicated to enhancing and optimizing the connections within and between the Vietnamese and Australian innovation ecosystems. This workstream is committed to deepening integration between our innovation systems, strengthening ties at ministerial, organizational, and individual levels, and promoting sustainable and inclusive development solutions.

The delivery of the Innovation Policy Dialogue aligns with Aus4Innovation’s commitment to enhance the capacity of policy makers, deepening policy dialogues around innovation, and drawing insights for policy recommendations. We therefore invest our effort on:

High-level Collaboration

At the ministerial level, the innovation partnership pursued by Aus4Innovation is grounded on two MOUs on STI Collaboration between DFAT and MST, and CSIRO and MST. The signing of these MOUs in 2023 and 2024 was witnessed by the Australian Prime Minister and Vietnamese Prime Minister during their respective visits to Vietnam and Australia.

Embedding in all program activities

“Partnership” is the cornerstone for all activities delivered by Aus4Innovation since its establishment, from joint research work, partnership-based grant projects, or innovation platform developments. This approach ensures that partners’ value, culture, ways of working, and capacities are always considered, making the collaboration effective in realizing the innovation goals of all.

Building an Aus4Innovation Alumni

An A4I Alumni network, connecting all partners who have been working with A4I is under development and will be launched soon.
