Innovation funding and finance
The Innovation Funding & Finance Workstream is a cornerstone of the Aus4Innovation program, providing crucial support for scalable innovation through collaborative partnerships between Australian and Vietnamese organizations. This initiative is about more than just funding—it’s a testbed for partnership models that aim to fill critical gaps and seize opportunities within the resilient agriculture and food ecosystems.
Insightful pilot projects
The core component of the Innovation Funding & Finance workstream is the continuation and expansion of our proven grants program from Phase 1. We are dedicated to providing targeted financial support to scale up initiatives that have been tested and are ready to address both recent hurdles and emerging prospects.
Strategic grant allocation
Grants within the Aus4Innovation Phase 2 framework are meticulously planned and will be allocated exclusively to specific agriculture and food ecosystems. These have been identified during the program’s inception phase as critical areas for innovation growth and development.
Integration with broader program objectives
The outcomes of grant projects are designed to have a far-reaching impact:
- Policy Influence: Grant results will shape policy and regulatory measures for the resilient agriculture and food sector and potentially inform other sectors.
- Partnership Focus: They provide a thematic focus for developing partnership mechanisms.
- Innovation Template: Successful projects could serve as models for sector-specific innovation hubs, potentially adaptable across sectors or as frameworks for broader collaborative platforms.
