Vietnam first ever guidelines on Responsible AI
With support from our Aus4Innovation program, the Ministry of Science and Technology has just rolled out new guidelines for responsible artificial intelligence systems aimed at making sure AI technology works for everyone.
Due to the ongoing evolution of AI, this first version will serve as base guidelines for continuous updating. Nevertheless, this first version already outlines Vietnam’s fundamental viewpoints on responsible AI. We are thrilled to see Vietnam taking big steps towards a human-centred society, where the benefits of AI are accessible to all, balancing innovation with safety, privacy, and ethics.
It is all about creating technology that’s transparent, inclusive, and respects human rights. Whether you are developing, designing, or just interested in the world of AI, these six fundamental viewpoints and nine principles in the guidelines are set to make a huge difference in ensuring tech works in our favour.
This supports a future where technology and humanity go hand in hand!
