We are thrilled to share insights from the recent workshop, “Strengthening the agriculture innovation system in Vietnam,” hosted by the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD). This event, supported by our Aus4Innovation program, fostered policy dialogue to catalyse innovation within Vietnam’s agricultural sector.

Vietnam’s agriculture sector faces numerous challenges, from climate adversities to processing technology and market access. Recognizing these hurdles, the workshop served as a collaborative policy dialogue platform. Participants delved into case studies showcasing the current innovation system arrangements, exploring their economic, social, and environmental impacts. These discussions are crucial for strengthening the agricultural innovation system that will pave the way for innovative solutions, ensuring a sustainable and resilient agricultural future for Vietnam.
